Biomimicry with Lion’s Mane Mycelium

Using spent grow bags, we made a biomimicry cultivation zone to invite Lion’s mane to the land.

1: brush aside the top to the mineral layer of the soil

2. Crumble Lionsmane mycelia all over

3. Rub mycelium into freshly cut maple (we hashed with the chainsaw to have more spots to inoculate it) and set at the boundaries of the earth door

4. Cover the Lionsmane crumbles with cardboard

5. Water it in

6. Cover with forest mulch

7. Now wait 2+ years and see if the logs framing this door or anywhere else on the farm start growing!
